The Evolution Of The Navy SEAL Teams

This is the most accurate history of SEAL Teams in existence. The personal insights from SEALs who helped make this film combine with action footage to make this one of the best SEAL films ever made.

The modern SEAL evolved from the Navy Frogmen of World War II. These underwater warriors were responsible for demolition jobs which cleared beachheads on D-Day. They reprised this role in the Pacific by clearing reefs and obstacles from beaches for Marine landings and amphibious assaults. In Korea, Underwater Demolition Teams cleared mines from harbors and worked behind enemy lines blowing up enemy bridges, tunnels, and railroad tracks. The SEAL accomplishments in Vietnam are legendary, with a kill ratio of over a hundred enemy dead for every SEAL casualty.

Navy SEALs recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary as America's most elite warriors. Few in numbers and extremely well-trained Navy SEALs have learned to operate in all environments. In fact, the very name SEAL is an acronym for Sea, Land, and Air. "The Evolution Of The Teams" is a historic accomplishment.
